KidsRead invites public school students from all over the five boroughs to The Center for Fiction to meet the children’s writers they have been reading in class.

Join me at the Montclair Book Center for a reading from GALAXY JONES THE SPACE PIRATES, followed by a conversation with middle grade author Nicole Melleby, as well as a Q&A and signing.

No, YOU Tell It! storytellers (Robin Gelfenbien, Ben Katzner, Briana McDonald, and Lowell Stephens) worked together to develop true tales on the page, then swapped stories to embody their partner’s culture, identity, and life experience on stage. Audiences bore witness as story partners shared in each other’s emotions directly instead of empathizing from a distance.
